Just a quick reminder that we’ll be sharing a stall with the LAGS student garden group at the Christmas Fair on Sat 27th November 2021 from noon until 6pm outside at Fearon Hall. The stall will be offering houseplants, seeds, Christmas decorations, jams, jellies and pickles, all for a donation, plus you can meet and chat with Transition members face to face.
Janet Smith will also have a neighbouring stall selling her knitted craft goods such as hats, brooches, tea cosies, and upcycled textiles such as rag rugs, draught excluders, bunting, aprons, and scarves (see photo below). A proportion of her profits also goes to Transition Loughborough funds, as well as to Falcon Support Services, Rainbows Hospice, and Loughborough Town of Sanctuary.
We hope you can support this event and meet some of our volunteers there for a chat!
