Wednesday 14th September is Cycle To Work Day, so Transition Loughborough is helping out by organising a lunchtime cycle maintenance session on the University campus. We’ll be at the LAGS garden shed at the rear of car park 5 in the centre of the campus from 12.30 to 1.30pm. The aim of the session is to help people with little niggly problems on their bikes – seat posts needing raising, handle bars tightening and brakes adjusting. For larger issues our expert cyclists can provide advice and pointers but in an hour we won’t be able to tackle full rebuilds!
So if you want to make sure that your bike is ready for the Autumn commutes to and from work, or just have the bike safely set up to pootle to the shops, bring it along and we’ll try to have a look at it!
