Potato Day 2016 a Success!

Potato Day was a great success again this year!

We’d like to say a big “thank you!” to all the people who bought potatoes, sets and seeds from us, the folk who staffed the market stall, the ladies who served teas, coffees and cakes in the Baptist Church (and the church for letting us have the room for the morning), our chums at Transition Chesterfield who shared their online ordering system and delivery with us, the bag makers and everyone else involved in the event!

Potato Day not only provides people in the town with access to a great range of reasonably priced seed potatoes, but it also provides Transition Loughborough with a small profit that is used to fund other projects throughout the rest of the year.   Potato Day is one of those great events where everyone is a winner!
