Fruit bush maintenance, pruning and propagating workshop at LAGS

Saturday 10th October between 1pm and 3pm finds well known local gardening expert Andy coming back to the Landscaping and Gardening Society (LAGS) site on the University campus to host one of his popular gardening workshops.

This weekend he will be looking at how to maintain, prune and propagate fruit bushes such as gooseberries, raspberries and currants.  This will be very useful if you’ve either got some fruit bushes in your garden or allotment that you need to tidy up, or if you want to take cuttings from existing bushes to increase your stock.

Its a FREE workshop, and there will be some refreshments available to.  No need to book – just turn up on the afternoon and join in. The LAGS garden is located at the back of car park 5 on campus – its the large brown shed and vegetable/flower beds.

And here’s a poster/flyer from Martha for the event:

Oh Drat! This is one I don’t want to miss. I’m chairing an AMG for my Textile art group and can’t get out of it. I hope he’ll do it again next year.
