Energy Group meeting & Big Digs

This coming Tuesday, 17th March, the Transition Loughborough Energy Group will be meeting in Coffee Lounge (back of main hall), St Peters Community Centre, Storer Road, Loughborough.  We’ll be deciding on how to spend the last of our grant money, so input on that is welcome. We’ve also got some planning for future events to discuss after the General Meeting last week.

Then on Saturday 21st March we have the Big Dig day. This is a national day of gardening action, intended to encourage people to go out into their local gardens and get growing. We’re involved with two events locally: on the Transition Loughborough Community Allotment off King George Road between 10am and noon, and then over at the LAGS student garden in the middle of the University campus (rear of car park 5) from 1pm to 3pm. Come along to meet other gardeners in the community and help get these community growing spaces off to a good start in 2015.

Here’s some posters for Big Dig-Transition  and LAGS-Big Dig that you can share with friends, neighbours & work colleagues. Spread the word!
