Ewan is from the Energy Saving Co-operative and is involved in piloting several LEAF (Local Energy Assessment Fund –
http://www.decc.gov.uk/en/content/cms/news/pn11_107/pn11_107.aspx) projects in Oxfordshire and in the area to meet with Student Unions about energy efficiency measures.
3. Shelthorpe CESP (Tolu Omideyi)
Tolu is from Charnwood Borough Council and has kindly offered to fill us in on the CESP (Community Energy Savings Programme) scheme in Shelthorpe.
4. Transition and Energy Efficiency for Loughborough (All)
To complement our energy generation initiative, we need to start thinking about energy efficiency. In the light of the above two items, and the imminent arrival of the Green Deal and Energy Company Obligation (http://www.decc.gov.uk/en/content/cms/tackling/green_deal/green_deal.aspx) in the Autumn to remove the upfront costs for energy efficiency, what should Transition be doing to move this agenda forward?
