Loughborough University Physics department is hosting a public lecture as part of National Science and Engineering Week by leading climate change expert Sir John Houghton FRS, who was the Chair of Scientific Assessment, Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change between 1998 and 2002.

The lecture will look at whether human activities may be causing climate change and how damaging the impacts of the changes will be.

The lecture takes place in room T003 in the Wolfson School from 5.15pm to 6.15pm on Wednesday March 14 2012.  Members of the public are welcome to attend and no booking is required, although you will need an understanding of physics principles to roughly ‘A’ Level standard.
