Map of foraging finds around Loughborough

At the 7th July 2011 Open Public Meeting it was suggested that one thing that could help people connect with local food production would be an online map of edible fruit and nut trees and bushes that people have found when out and about around Loughborough. So here’s one!

The little green tree icons indicate where some tasty freebie fruits may be found – click on the tree to find out more about what might be there. And if you’ve got a Google account and have found other useful berries, fruits or nuts in publicly accessible places around the town feel free to add them to the map!
